Beverly sent off for our WorldCon memberships. I've never been, and probably wouldn't have this time either, except... there's a travelling exhibit of Ancient Egyptian art from the British Museum that will be in San Francisco at the same time. Not to mention Yoko Ono's show. No. Really.
So we're going.
This morning I worked on Massa a bit and wrote some long overdue letters.
The kids are off school this week (and why is that, exactly? some sort of vacation...) so it's harder than usual to write at home. Mostly I write at Shakabrah Java - a quiet cafe in the morning, and I edit at home in the afternoons. Screaming teens, however, make this bit somewhat problematic. I desperately need some private office space.
