My Grandfather died at about 3:30pm this afternoon. I'm flying to Chicago late Sunday night for a Monday wake and Tuesday funeral.

Hey, I was just served with a summons. No. Really.
It seems that some person (who I will not name, mostly 'cause I've never met them) is suing Beverly (and incidentally somebody called "John Doe Ryng", her husband) for hit and run.
Nutty? Oh, yes. About two years ago, when we were auto-less, one of Beverly's co-workers gave her this old beater. Signed the title over, in fact. Well, we bought a new used car and said co-worker asked to have the old beater back. Against my better judgement, we complied. Sometime after this point, the vehicle in question was involved in a hit-and-run.

If anybody knows a decent attorney, please email me AT ONCE, since we have only a short time to respond and I certainly don't want to screw this up.
Has anybody I know actually seen me angry? Well I am now.
