By the time of the CD game you were involved in, the continent of Sahûl was already destroyed and long forgotten. The glory of Sahûl takes place before the sundering of Tarbyr.
In fact, Humans during this time are little more than savages, just learning to tie rocks to sticks. The primary movers of Sahûl are the three elder races of the Saurians, Malebolge, and Wenemet.
You remember those Tower-Builder ruins that dot Tarbyr and parts of western Priban? Those that built them have not yet discovered how to fall to this world. The Malebolge won't be enslaved by their offworld Masters for almost a thousand years.
The Elves are just a quaint woodland people existing far over the seas, unknown to the inhabitants of Sahûl.
Dwarves? Never heard of 'em.
Which brings me to a pretty serious problem. Virtually none of the illustrations I have for CD will work.
I'm going to need black and white interior art and full-colour cover.
