So, the book itself is cool enough, but whoever decided to use a scalloped shell to hold open the pages for the photographer is a geeenius.

At least, I think it's a scalloped shell...

Oh, and here's a meme I stumbled into...

Leave your name and
1. I'll respond with something random about you.
2. I'll tell you what song/movie reminds me of you.
3. I'll pick a flavor of jello you should wrestle in.
4. I'll say something that only makes sense to you and me.
5. I'll tell you my first/clearest memory of you.
6. I'll tell you what animal you remind me of.
7. I'll ask you something that I've always wondered about you.
8. If I do this for you, you must post this on your journal.

1. Your unhealthy fascination with Spring-Heeled Jack seems to have abated.
2. Goldfinger (it's the hat, sorry).
3. Curried asparagus chutney.
4. I taught them to read, and there was no honey that year.
5. A conversation about (4), above, at Borders.
6. A glass of port in front of the fire on a cold autumn day. Wait, that's not an animal. Um. The mighty flamingo.
7. What frightens you?

How ever did you guess? Curried asparagus chutnet is my favorite flavor of wrestling jello!

as for #1, I've run out of information!

#7 In all seriousness, the deep seated and absurd fear that I am not a very intelligent person, and that my deep secret will be exposed and everyone will know how unintelligent I am. This fear has diminished over time. Once it was quite crippling. I'd like to say it is gone, but it still has a hold over me some times.

in answer to your question -- if you're going to work without the corporate safety net, it helps to have a high enough tech level to automate some extremely time consuming tasks. that's been my whole quest since sometime last year or longer. i hope to punce before thanksgiving (good lord willing and the river don't rise!)....

This is interesting, but looks possibly very time-consuming if done thoughtfully. I will buy your novel if you write it. Or are you having an episode of W.B.? If you are, you have my sympathy, and fool around with quizzes and memes all you need to.
