Perhaps it's the irony of a semiauto carbine in the hands of a man shepherding harmless animals--as well as the monstrous military vehicle in the background, an extra layer of might in case those cute animals get any funny ideas

Shear Ludicrousness

Today's armed forces are now forced to sheer, spin, and weave their own uniforms due to the overspending of the Bush administration. This is Sargeant Swidley who is the head of the new Textiles Squad. When asked about his new duty he replied, "Look, at least we get high altitude cashmere for our skivvies."
